Never underestimate where you might meet an angel.
They will make their statement wherever they find a receptive heart, for they love everyone, everywhere.
Uriel and Aurora are the archangel and archeia who serve on the sixth ray of God’s peace, brotherhood, ministration and service.
The administration of divine justice is also associated with this ray. The color of the ray is purple and gold flecked with ruby.
In the archeia Aurora, this color can appear more like the golden-pink glow of the dawn.
Uriel and Aurora’s work corresponds to the solar plexus chakra, the place of desire and the ultimate place of peace.
Their retreat is in the heaven-world approximately over the Tatra Mountains, south of Cracow, Poland.
Angels of peace and brotherhood
The name Uriel means “fire of God,” “flame of God” or “God is my light.” In Jewish tradition Archangel Uriel is called the “one who brings light to Israel.”
Archangel Uriel is not named in the Bible but he is mentioned in other Jewish and Christian texts.
In these he is variously identified as a seraph, as one of the cherubim God placed at the east of the Garden of Eden, as an angel of the presence, or as the watcher over the world and over the lowest part of Hades.
In the Book of Enoch, Uriel is one of the four chief angels, along with Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.
In that text Uriel is Enoch’s guide on his journeys through heaven and the underworld.
Some traditions say that Uriel warned Noah of the impending flood and that he was sent to teach Noah how to survive the flood.
Uriel is described as the interpreter of prophecies and is often portrayed carrying a book or a papyrus scroll. John Milton describes him in Paradise Lost as the “regent of the sun” and “the sharpest-sighted spirit in all of Heaven.”
In Gnostic writings Uriel is called Suriel, and he rules over one of the seven planetary spheres. In Islam, Uriel is identified as one of the four angels who guard the throne of Allah.
Uriel is named as one of the angels who leads souls to judgment in the Sibylline Oracles, early texts that were used to spread Jewish and Christian doctrine among pagans.
These works contain predictions of woes and disasters that will come upon mankind, and they were quoted hundreds of times by the Church Fathers.
The second book of the Sibylline Oracles says:
The imperishable angels of immortal God, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, who know what evils anyone did previously, lead all the souls of men from the murky dark to judgment, to the tribunal of the great immortal God. …
Then Uriel, the great angel, will break the gigantic bolts, of unyielding and unbreakable steel, of the gates of Hades; … he will throw them wide open and will lead all the mournful forms to judgment, especially those of ancient phantoms, Titans and Giants and such as the Flood destroyed. Also those whom the wave of the sea destroyed in the oceans, and as many as wild beasts and serpents and birds devoured; all these, he will call to the tribunal.
Ask angels for the assistance you need
Archangel Uriel reminds us that for the archangels to intercede for us, we must submit to the will of God. They will not assist us in doing something that is not God’s will.
In fact, by not cooperating with that plan they make known to us that perhaps that plan is not God’s will.
Uriel says: “We are archangels serving the will of God … and we come to serve the sons and daughters of God” who are obedient to his will in matters small and great. “We may not, by the law of God, intercede in your life or interfere unless you surrender that human will and say: ‘Not my will, but thine be done. O Lord, come into my life and help me!’”
Sometimes we make mistakes and think we do God’s will, but we err. We can learn from those well-intended but mistaken actions.
And by developing the listening grace of the Mother of Jesus, listening to the voice of God inside of us and making time every day, quiet and undisturbed, just for listening, we become more sensitive to God’s will.
Two very important times for listening are the first five or ten minutes after you awaken and as you are falling asleep.
At those times you are making the transition between the octaves of the heaven-world and earth, and that’s when you may get some of your most important ideas. Those are brief moments, so make additional time to listen to God.
How to overcome bad habits
Archangel Uriel advises you to zero in on a single condition in your life that you may have been wrestling with for a long time. He says, “Whatever the struggle is—whether it be gluttony or greed, or something known only to you and me in the privacy of your own heart”:
First, “Be free of all self-condemnation for that condition.”
Second, “See yourself in your great Reality, large as life, filled with the Spirit, and look at this problem as an inch high. Have the sense of the power of God in you!”
Third, “Form and draw together in the heart, in the desire body, and in the will a determination that allows the fiat to go forth from your heart in the spoken Word.” This is the fiat that Uriel gives you: “O my God, I will have the victory over this beast of my lesser self!”
Fourth, do not suppress negatives but let them pass into the violet flame. Visualize a river of violet flame moving swiftly in front of you, and then throw your negatives into it and watch them be carried downstream in the violet flame.
Just let them pass into the flame right as you invoke it.
Another key from Uriel for bringing about change is to offer devotions to your God Presence every day.
Archangel Uriel and his angels have promised to help you as you walk the path back to God’s heart. He says, “We have but one request of you: that you determine within your hearts to not let a day go by that you do not think upon your mighty God Presence and offer your devotions, your adorations and your ministrations to this mighty Source of life. For it is through this God Presence that we are able to penetrate the darkness that is around you, that we are able to descend and walk with you, and that you are able to ascend into our presence. By this mutuality of service, this cosmic cooperation, we can move forward.… The Presence of God never fails!”
Uriel says that it is separation from that God-reality that causes failure. It is separation that causes doubt. It is separation from God that causes fear.
“And I say that separation is a lie, that it never existed in the mind and heart of God, and it shall not exist within you if you heed my words this day and accept the mighty dispensations of light given to you. Accept them and become one with your God Presence! …
“Walk the earth as Christs. Put off the old garment! Put it off and be transfigured in the mighty transfiguring flame of life!”
